As Christians, we believe in the power of intercessory prayer. As the late scholar of revival James Edwin Orr once said, “No great spiritual awakening has begun anywhere in the world apart from united prayer.” Across the nation, leaders are hearing the Lord say that the U.S. is going to experience a great awakening.
Prompted by this message, a coalition of influential evangelical and charismatic/Pentecostal leaders met together in a meeting hosted by Dick Eastman at the international headquarters of Every Home for Christ in 2016.
The coalition—including Paul Cedar (Mission America), Lisa Crump and John Bornschein (National Day of Prayer), Ed Silvoso (Harvest Evangelism), Dutch Sheets, Lou Engle, David Butts (National Prayer Committee), David Kubal (Intercessors for America) and Mike and Cindy Jacobs (Generals International)—sought the Lord, strategized, and came to a consensus that God was leading them to unite and issue a national call for multiple days of fasting and prayer walking.
Out of this has emerged a broad coalition of ministries called, In Unity. The vision is: uniting as one in Christ Jesus, appealing to heaven to change the spiritual climate of our nation. The basic strategy revolves around a period of prayer-walking, fasting, and corporate prayer events. We invite all who are like-minded to join us in this pursuit of seeing a great awakening.

This 2016 Fast Forward America 40-Day Prayer Guide is a resource that was built to serve those who have a desire to pray for revival in America and who desire to see our nation transformed for the glory of God.
This guide is an ideal tool to lead you as you participate in IN UNITY’s 40-day period of prayer walking, fasting and corporate prayer events. It will take you, as an intercessor for America, through a process of praying for every “sphere” of influence in our society. You will pray for five or six consecutive days for each sphere. For example, from day one through day six, you will pray for the “Church (Religion)” sphere. From days seven through twelve, you will pray for the “Family and Marriages” sphere.
Within each of these broad focuses, you will be given a daily prayer focus, listed at the top of each page of the guide. The red tab at the bottom of each page will remind you what sphere you are praying for on any given day.
Adopt-A-Street is a coordinated effort to cover communities in prayer street by street. This web tool gives you the ability to claim a street for which you have a heart to pray.
This 31-day prayer map helps you focus your prayers on a different state or states each day of the month. The map also contains other helpful tools to guide and fuel your prayer for the United States.

The first 100 Days of the presidency of a newly elected POTUS is critical for setting the platform and for garnering the success of the administration from the start. This year the first 100 days begins on Inauguration Day, January 20th, and runs through April 29th, 2017.
As we look back in the history of the nation, the idea of this time period and setting of administrative priorities stemmed from the first hundred days of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s presidency.
When he took office, he planned to end the Great Depression that was thought to have been caused by the policies of his predecessor, Herbert Hoover. When FDR took office on March 4th, 1933, he immediately addressed the effects of the depression.
His four main priorities were to get Americans back to work, protect their savings and create prosperity, provide relief for the sick and the elderly, and get industry and agriculture back on their feet.
It is critical that we stand together In Unity for the new administration as it takes power in January. President Trump has an aggressive 100 Day policy. If we do not lift our voice in prayer for this president and his policies, then we will not have a right to complain about what happens during this time frame. Not only that, but we are commanded to intercede first for those in authority over us that we can lead a quiet and peaceable life. (I Timothy 2:1-3).
In that light, a coalition of prayer ministries have banded together to write a prayer guide to cover the first 100 days as part of the In Unity initiative www.prayinunity.org. This is the second major collaboration we have endeavored as national prayer networks. The first involved two separate 40 day periods of prayer walking our cities and neighborhoods that resulted in thousands of people putting feet to their prayers across America.
